When Siddharth Malhotra posted the first poster of Maharaj, Junaid Khan’s mother Reena Dutta reposted the same to show her support and love. On the other hand, his sister Ira Khan commented, “Junnnnnnnn,” and she used hearts emojis.
Zayed Khan said, “Finally, congratulations brother. Can’t wait to see this one. ” Dia Mirza wrote, “Yayyyyy. ” Shruti Haasan said, “Yay! Can’t wait. ”

Maharaj starring Aamir Khan’s son Junaid will be out on Netflix from June 16, 2024. Today, on May 29, the streaming platform shared the first look poster of the film on their social media handle where Jaideep Ahlawat and Junaid Khan are seen.
The photo caption read “The fight for the truth between a powerful man and a fearless journalist. Based on true events – Maharaj is releasing on 14 June, only on Netflix!”
In the poster, Jaideep can be seen in the avatar of a king and the backdrop of a palace catches the eye. As for Junaid, he has a newspaper placed behind him with the title reading Supreme Court Of Bombay.

Maharaj is a period drama that revolves around the events of the 1862 Maharaja Libel Case. It was directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by Aditya Chopra.
Another person involved with the project informed us that the trailer of Maharaj will be released on June 5 then the movie will be released after a gap of 9 days. “Since it’s an OTT release, Netflix has planned for a short pre-release publicity. The big promotional campaign will begin after the release when the show speaks for itself and generates more topics for discussion,” the source said.
