South Korean singer Park Bo Ram, aged 30, has passed away, as announced by her agency, XANADU Entertainment, on Thursday, April 11. The cause of her death is currently under investigation by the police.
Investigators from Namyangju Police Station confirmed that just before her untimely death, singer Park Bo Ram attended a private event, as reported by AllKPop. The report indicates that she was drinking with two friends. At 9:55 pm, she went to the restroom and did not return. Worried, her friends checked on her and found her unconscious, slouched over the sink.
Emergency services were quickly notified, and her friends performed CPR until medical help arrived. Despite their efforts, Park Bo Ram was declared dead upon reaching the hospital.
However, the sudden passing of Park Bo-ram has deeply shocked the entertainment community. XANADU Entertainment, her agency, issued a statement offering sincere condolences and requesting privacy for the family and friends of the deceased during this challenging period.
Although, she gained fame at the age of 17 when she participated in the reality singing competition ‘Superstar K2’ in 2010. Her remarkable vocal talent and captivating presence quickly won her a devoted fan base. She continued to charm audiences with her soulful performances and contributions to K-drama soundtracks.
