Riteish sent a long message on his Instagram account along with the first look image for his forthcoming movie. The title of the movie and a silhouette of Shivaji Maharaj’s persona are displayed on the poster.

Production & Release:
Jio Studios and Deshmukh’s own banner Mumbai Film Company is producing this film. While details about the cast (besides Deshmukh) and crew are yet to be revealed, reports suggest the film is aiming for an unprecedented scale and is expected to release in theaters sometime in 2025.
Following the Success of Ved:
This announcement comes after the success of Deshmukh’s directorial debut, the Marathi film “Ved” in 2022. “Ved” became one of the highest-grossing Marathi films, making Raja Shivaji even more anticipated by fans.
